Fujitsu Siemens Computers - Fujitsu Siemens Computers is a Japanese and German IT vendor, selling consumer and business computing products in the markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (products marketed elsewhere are sold under the Fujitsu brand). The company is a 50/50 joint venture between Fujitsu Limited of Japan and Siemens AG of Germany and was founded in 1999. Fujitsu Siemens Computers products range from mainframes and Unix servers to notebooks, desktop PCs, handhelds and peripherals such as displays, keyboards and mice. Fujitsu Siemens specialise on "Green" computers, making sure the whole range confirms or exceeds requirements for a wide variety of ecological and environmental markings.

Dell - Dell Inc., an American computer-hardware company based in Round Rock, Texas, develops, manufactures, sells and supports a wide range of personal computers, servers, data storage devices, network switches, personal digital assistants (PDAs), software, computer peripherals, and more. As of 2006 Dell employs more than 63,700 people worldwide and manufactures more computers than any other organization in the world. According to the Fortune 500 2006 list, Dell ranks as the 25th-largest company in the United States by revenue. In 2006, Fortune magazine ranked Dell as No. 8 on its annual list of the most-admired companies in the United States. Another group identified Dell as one of 38 high-performance companies in the S&P 500 which consistently outperformed the market over the previous 15 years.

BenQ - BenQ Corporation is a Republic of China-based company specializing in the manufacturing of computing, communications, and consumer electronics devices. The name reflects their corporate motto or vision: Bringing Enjoyment and Quality to life. The company was established in 1984, initially known as Continental Systems Inc., then Acer CM (Communications and Multimedia), and finally rebranded as BenQ in December 2001. BenQ manufactures technology products, including communication and personal computer related products. Its principal products include TFT LCD monitors, LCD TVs, scanners and printers, digital cameras, projectors, laptops, computer keyboards, mice, and mobile phones. The head office is located in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and the company operates worldwide. BenQ owns and operates seventy-four branch offices, and employ over 15,000+ individuals. Three business groups manage BenQ's product lines: Computing Products Business Group, Digital Media Business Group and BenQ Mobile Busi ness Group.

Asus - ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is a Taiwan-based company that produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, PDAs, notebook computers, networking products, mobile phones, computer cases, and computer cooling systems. Commonly called by their brand name ASUS, it is listed on London Stock Exchange and Taiwan Stock Exchange. ASUS was founded in 1989 in Taiwan by TH Tung, Ted Hsu, Wayne Hsieh and MT Liao - all four were computer engineers from Acer. The current CEO and Chairman of ASUS, Jonney Shih, joined the company in 1994. According to the ASUS sales manager Alexander Kim the name ASUS originated from Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology. The first three letters of the word were dropped to give the resulting name a high position in alphabetical listings.

Apple Computer - Apple Computer, Inc. is an American computer technology corporation with worldwide annual sales in its fiscal year 2005 (ending 24 September 2005) of US$ 13.9 billion. The company has 14,800 employees in several countries. Headquartered in Cupertino, California, Apple develops, sells, and supports a series of personal computers, portable media players, computer software, and computer hardware accessories. The company's best-known products include the Macintosh line of personal computers, the Mac OS X operating system, the iPod portable music player, and the iTunes Store. Apple operates retail stores in the United States, Canada, Japan and the United Kingdom. The stores carry most of Apple's products as well as many third-party products and offer on-site support and repair for Apple hardware and software. Hewlett-Packard - Hewlett-Packard Company, commonly known as HP, is the world's largest information technology corporation and is worldwide known for its printers and personal computers. Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, United States, it has a global presence in the fields of computing, printing, and digital imaging, and also provides software and services. HP posted US$91.7 billion in annual revenue in 2006, accelerating the competition with IBM for the distinction of being the world's largest technology vendor in terms of sales. HP is now the No. 1 ranking in worldwide personal computer shipments, surpassing rival Dell, market research firms Gartner and IDC reported in October 2006.

Sony - Sony Corporationis a Japanese multinational corporation and one of the world's largest media conglomerates with revenue of $68.39 billion (as of 2006). With headquarters in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Sony is one of the leading manufacturers of electronics, video, communications, video games, and information technology products for the consumer and professional markets. Sony Corporation is an operating-holding company. It is the electronics business unit and the parent company of the Sony Group, which is engaged in business through its 5 operating segments - electronics, games, motion pictures, financial services and other. Sony is one of the most comprehensive entertainment companies in the world. Sony's principal business operations include Sony Corporation (Sony Electronics in the U.S.), Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Sony Financial Holdings. Sony recorded consolidated annual sales of approximately $67 billion for the fiscal y ear ended March 31, 2005, and it employs 158,100 people worldwide. Sony's consolidated sales in the U.S. for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005 were $18.4 billion. As a semiconductor maker, Sony is among the Worldwide Top 20 Semiconductor Sales Leaders. LG - LG Electronics is an affiliate of the South Korean LG Group which produces electronic products. The previous company name was Lucky-Goldstar. Before the corporate name change, many electronic products were sold under the brand name Goldstar, while some other household products (not available outside Korea) were sold under the brand name of Lucky. The Goldstar brand is still available but is a lower quality brand than the "LG" brand. LG is now one of the leading producers of electronics in the world. Their advertisements encourage people to assume that LG stands for "Life's Good", but this is a backronym. LG, a pioneering developer that facilitated commercialization of iris recognition technology in 1999, is the current world leader in deployed iris recognition technology systems for security, convenience, privacy enhancement, productivity and other identity-dependent applications.

Compaq - Compaq Computer Corporation is an American personal computer company founded in 1982, and now a brand name of Hewlett-Packard. The company was formed by Rod Canion, Jim Harris and Bill Murto - former Texas Instruments senior managers. The name "COMPAQ" was derived from "Compatibility and Quality", as at its formation Compaq produced some of the first IBM PC compatible computers. Once the largest supplier of computing systems in the world it existed as an independent corporation until 2002, when it merged with Hewlett-Packard.
